THE CARE - The Forms
Getting Ready For the First Meeting:
SHARE THE CARE stresses the need for two people
(a Leader, and a Coordinator) to organize the very first meeting.
This is because it requires preparation and familiarization with
the exercises, designed by Dr. Miller, to get the group to talk
honestly as well as bond them together emotionally. During the
meeting, all the systems that will keep the group running smoothly
over long periods of time are introduced and explained. Vital
information will be collected and the group will be able to function
immediately. The meeting is fully scripted in order to have it
run efficiently and to keep it on track.
The person
who is the Coordinator is required to prepare a number of forms
in order to collect information and explain the systems. There
is a special workbook section in the book that explains each of
these forms in great detail.
They cover:
- What each
is for
- Why you
need it and
- How it
works.
In order to
make things a little easier, we are offering these forms online.
If you are the Coordinator, you can print them out immediately
and make copies. Each is color coded and includes easy-to-follow
procedures.
