About The Authors:
Authors Cappy Capossela and Sheila Warnock were long time friends and advertising creative partners developing fragrance print and television campaigns before and after they became involved in SHARE THE CARE.

In early 2002, Cappy’s father was diagnosed with a brain tumor and two weeks later Cappy was also diagnosed with a brain tumor. While her mother and brother organized the care of her father, Sheila formed a SHARE THE CARE group for Cappy in New York City. Throughout this devastating illness that left her unable to speak, walk or even move her body without assistance, Cappy fought a battle to live her life to the fullest extent possible. The quality of life that Cappy was able to experience was only made possible by the efforts of her group. Cappy and her father both passed away in October, 2002 within twelve hours of each other.

In memory of her dear friend and co-author, Sheila is in the process of creating the SHARE THE CAREGIVING FOUNDATION and website to promote group caregiving as a proven option for meeting the needs of the seriously ill and their caregivers. For more information, click here.
